Regenerative Ceramic

Regenerative ceramics are the core heat exchange medium in RTO and regenerative combustion systems, made from high-performance materials such as cordierite and mullite through high-temperature sintering. The product features a large specific surface area, low thermal conductivity, and excellent thermal shock resistance, maintaining structural stability under frequent thermal cycling. Its honeycomb or corrugated structural design ensures efficient heat storage and release while maintaining low airflow resistance. Individual ceramic pieces can be flexibly stacked in multiple layers to match different airflow and temperature requirements. It is primarily used in RTOs, regenerative burners, and high-temperature air combustion systems. Compared to metal heat exchangers, regenerative ceramics have higher temperature resistance (up to 1200℃ and above) and do not suffer from corrosion or oxidation. We also offer customized aperture sizes and material formulations to meet special operating conditions such as acidic gases or alkali metal environments, helping users improve system thermal efficiency and reduce long-term maintenance costs.
