Our Box-Type Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (Box-Type RTO) is a high-efficiency, energy-saving, and safe environmental protection equipment specially designed for the treatment of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odorous gases in industrial production. It integrates advanced thermal oxidation technology and high-efficiency heat recovery technology, which can thoroughly decompose VOCs into harmless carbon dioxide (CO₂) and water (H₂O), achieving stable compliance with global strict environmental emission standards such as EU, US EPA, and other regional regulations.

Core Working Principle

The Box-Type RTO adopts a modular box structure, mainly composed of a combustion chamber, multiple regenerative chambers filled with Heat storage ceramic media, and a switching valve system. Its working process is divided into three cyclic stages, realizing continuous and efficient treatment:

1.Heat Storage Stage: The high-temperature flue gas after VOCs oxidation passes through the regenerative chamber, transferring a large amount of heat to the ceramic Thermal media, which is stored for later use. The cooled flue gas is discharged through the exhaust port.

2.VOCs Oxidation Stage: The low-concentration, large-airflow VOCs exhaust gas enters the preheated regenerative chamber, absorbs the heat stored in the ceramic media, and is preheated to the oxidation temperature (760–950℃). Then it enters the combustion chamber, where it is completely oxidized and decomposed under the action of an auxiliary fuel (if needed).

3.Switching Stage: The switching valve switches automatically, changing the direction of gas flow, so that each regenerative chamber alternates between heat storage and heat release, ensuring continuous operation of the equipment and maximum utilization of waste heat.

1.Ultra-High Purification Efficiency: VOCs removal rate reaches ≥99%, which can effectively treat various complex components of VOCs (such as ketones, esters, aromatics, alkanes, etc.), ensuring that the outlet emissions are far lower than the global environmental standards.

2.Excellent Energy Saving Performance: Equipped with high-density Heat storage ceramic media, the heat recovery efficiency is as high as 95% or more. The recovered waste heat can be reused for production heating, drying, or preheating of inlet gas, greatly reducing auxiliary fuel consumption and operating costs.

3.Stable & Safe Operation: The box-type structure is sturdy and durable, with multiple safety protection systems (explosion relief device, flame arrester, LEL monitoring, over-temperature alarm, automatic flameout protection, etc.), effectively preventing risks such as deflagration, backfire, and over-temperature, and adapting to high-risk industrial scenarios.

4.Compact Modular Design: The modular box structure is small in floor space, easy to install and expand. It can be prefabricated in the factory and quickly assembled on site, shortening the construction and commissioning cycle, especially suitable for old factory renovation and limited space projects.

5.Low Maintenance Cost: The Heat storage ceramic media has a long service life (≥15 years), and the switching valve and other key components adopt wear-resistant and high-temperature resistant materials, with low failure rate and simple daily maintenance, reducing the later operation and maintenance costs for customers.

6.Zero Secondary Pollution: The VOCs are completely oxidized into CO₂ and H₂O, without producing wastewater, sludge, or harmful by-products, and there is no secondary pollution to the environment.

7.Strong Adaptability: It can adapt to large fluctuations in VOCs concentration (100–10000 mg/m³) and air volume, and can stably operate under high humidity, high dust, and high-corrosion working conditions.
